Combined Regional Authorised
Vessels Tool (CRAVT)

Welcome to the IMCS Network's Combined Regional Authorised Vessels Tool (CRAVT). The CRAVT automatically combines vessel-related data and information from several Regional Fisheries Management Organisations (RFMOs) and Regional Fisheries Bodies (RFBs). The CRAVT can be used to search for specific vessels or browse groups of vessels including by flag, vessel type or RFMO or RFB. The CRAVT identifies where differences exist between RFMO or RFB records for a specific vessel. Users may also search Vessel Contacts (vessel companies and vessel masters) for a specific vessel.

The CRAVT currently includes vessel-related data and information from the Commission for the Conservation of Southern Bluefin Tuna (CCSBT), the Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC), the Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission (IATTC), the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC), the North Pacific Fisheries Commission (NPFC) and the Pacific Islands Forum Fisheries Agency (FFA). Work is underway to include vessel-related data and information from several other RFMOs and RFBs. Find out more about RFMO and RFB vessel authorisation and records here.

A CRAVT Application Programming Interface (API) has been developed and can be made available on request. The API will be made available for non-commercial uses at no charge. If you would like the CRAVT API or require additional information about the CRAVT, please contact the IMCS Network.
